Steel wire for hose reinforcement is also called hose wire, brass-plated steel wire, rubber tube wire, or brass rubber tube wire. Brass coated steel wire(hose wire) is manufactured according to BS, ASTM, EN, ISO or customers requirements. 0.25mm brass coated steel wire with 2750-3050N/mm² is made of high cleanliness high carbon steel wire rod. It is usually used as reinforcement layer of the hydraulic hose in the form of braid.
