Black silicon carbide is produced with high-class raw materials and electric resistance furnace at high temperature. Its hardness is higher than fused alumina but less than synthetic diamond. It also has electrical and heat conductivity.

Applications:

1. Used to grind cast iron, rubber, non-ferrous metals, leather, plastic, ceramic,

   wood, rock, etc.

2. Widely used to manufacture high-grade refractory products and

   metallurgical deoxidizer.

3. Suitable for surface grinding, lapping or polishing.
