EDTA-4H appears as white crystal powder. It can be soluble in sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate and ammonia solution. EDTA-4H is not soluble in cold water, acid and common organic solvents and discomposed at 240°C.

Application:  

EDTA-4H has very widely application. It can be used for bleaching of color photographic materials washing processing fixing bath, dyeing auxiliaries, fiber processing additives, cosmetic additives, blood anticoagulant, detergent, stabilizing agent and synthetic rubber polymerization initiator. EDTA-4H is the representation of  chelating agent.

It can form stable water-soluble complexes with alkali metals, rare earth elements and transition metals. Besides  sodium salt, there are ammonium salt and other metal ion salts.

EDTA-4H is mainly used as the complexing agent, widely used in water treatment agent, washing with additives, lighting chemicals, papermaking chemicals, oil field chemicals, boiler cleaning agents and analytical reagent.

Packing and Storage:
Packed in paper bags lined with plastic; net-weighted 25kg per bag. 

Stored in cool, dark, ventilated and dry place.
