The new devices which are specially called ENFit have been designed specifically for enteral nutrition products. These connectors will not fit into other types of ports (such as IV ports) . 

ENFit male luer lock cap is fit for the ENFit female connector on feeding tube.

ENFit female luer lock cap is fit for the ENFit male connector on nutrition administration set or Y connector.

There’s a strap connecting the cap to the luer connector.
