The VPSA process is the same as that of PSA. The difference lies in adsorption under atmospheric or slightly above atmospheric pressure (0 ~ 50Kpa), vacuum pump desorption (-50 ~ -80Kpa). Compared to PSA process, VPSA has complex process equipment and higher investment but low power consumption, suitable for large scale oxygen production.
