Q: Does this bathroom floor mats have front and back? Or can it be used on both sides?

A: It can be used on both sides. It is made of a natural product, so you may like the look of one side more than the other. I just received mine and was shocked as the size was not even close to advertised. It is 23 1/2" wide not 26.8". The directions also say to store upright when not in use which I was not aware of before purchase.

Q: is this made in China or in Japan?

A: It is made in China but adopted Japan technology.
