Linesoft SRS

Description

Linesoft SRS is a new product developed by Zhejiang Kefeng Silicone Co., Ltd. The product is a great softener replace of traditional amino-modified silicone softeners, it’s structure is a block copolymer based on (AB)n technology. The product is an upgrade of common amino silicone oil, and overcomes its drawbacks of poor stability and non-redyeing.

Product performance

For chemical fabric softening, has great fluffy chemical fabric softening, the softness, smooth property and fluffy feel are all great;

For cotton fabric, also has good softening effective;

Is much more softer & smooth than the traditional amino-modified silicone softeners;

Excellent using safety and compound compatibility;

High temperature resistance;

Electrolyte resistance;

Non-stick to roller, no-drift oil, no silicone spot;

Very low yellowing;

Environmentally friendly.

Product Properties

Application 

Linesoft SRS may be considered for use in textile finishing of all synthetics, synthetic/cotton blends, polyester fleece and wool. It typically provides good lubricity and hand-feel during the manufacture of polyester fleece.

Dosage:

Linesoft SRS should be used during finishing, at a dosage level of 3-5 g/liter in the bath.

Product performance

After treated with LINESOFT SRS, softness, smothness and fluffy feel of synthetic fiber, cotton fiber, polyester fleece and wool are showed in Table 1.

Products were all in 20% active ingredient. Magnasoft SRS (made by Momentive) was set as a control. The softness, Smoothness and Fluffy feel are based on a scale of 1 to 8, with 8 being the best. All these parameters were tested by five professional techniques who have more than 20 years textile experience.

As Table 1 showed that, LINESOFT SRS has greater softness, smoothness and fluffy grade than blank control. Compared with Magnasoft SRS(made by Momentive), LINESOFT SRS has equal smoothness and fluffy grade, but even better softness.

Storage

Products shall be ideally stored in a cool, dry location in unopened containers at a temperature between 8? to 28? unless otherwise labeled. Optimal storage is at the lower half of this temperature range. To prevent contamination of unused product, do not return any material to its original container.
