Hairline(No.4) This is a ground unidirectional finish obtained with 150/180/240/320 grit abrasive, which is characterized by parallel brushing lines, it is also known as Satin. These finishes are mostly used in architectural applications for both practical and esthetic reasons, in dairy equipment and also in the automotive sector.
Seemingly endless polishing lines extend uniformly along with the length of the coil give the hairline. It's a well-defined directional finish with long-grain and fine-line. Most commonly used in elevators, escalators, automotive sector, interior cladding, building facades, ect.
