HD-2940s primary steam-reforming catalysts have microsponge pore structure and 6-hole shape to improve surface area and strength significantly. Rare earth promoter is added in HD-2940A to enhance the catalyst activity at low temperature and improve resistance against carbon formation. The steam/carbon ration can be as low as 2.0. Stable calcium aluminate support resist nickel-aluminum spinel formation and ensure safety operation and extend the service life to 3-5 years. The series is widely used in syngas plants with feedstocks of NG, C4, naphtha, COG and refinery off-gas, etc. .
