SMC Water Tanks
SMC (sheet molding compound) material is formulated of polyester resin, chemical agents, and mineral fillers, reinforced by fiberglass. It is a composite material which offers excellent properties like high strength to weight ratio, water proof, heat insulated, and weather proof. The polyester resin and other raw materials can be chosen as FDA appliance for making water tanks for drinking water and normal raw materials for making water tanks for industrial purposes. 

The design of SMC water tanks is modular. Usually 1X1 meter, 1X1.5 meter and 1X2 meter SMC panels are molded. Then a water tank can be installed out of these standard size panels. It is flexible that however big water tanks can be assembled by these modular standard size panels. The design keeps the water tanks without water leakage at all because of using special gaskets at the touching faces of each panel.
