Water Glue Formula I (Single side gluing)

Glue making procedures:

1)Water 40 kg;

2)Put the glue powder 25kg into above water and stir evenly;

3)Add 2-2.2kg caustic soda into 5kg water and stir evenly for 5-10minutes; and then put this solution into above glue and stir evenly for about 5minutes;

4)Put 1.2-1.5kg borax into 5kg boiling water and stir evenly for 5-10minutes; and then put this solution into above glue of the step 3, note, stirring evenly while pouring;

5)Add around 30ml tributyl phosphate into the above glue of step 4 and mix it around evenly; and now the glue is completed finally

Water Glue Formula II (double sides gluing)

Glue making procedures:

1.Water 25kg;

2.Put the glue powder 25kg into above water and stir evenly;

3.Add 2-2.2kg caustic soda into 3kg water and stir evenly for 5-10minutes; and then put this solution into above glue and stir evenly for about 5minutes;

4.Put 0.8-1kg borax into 4kg hot water and stir evenly for 5-10minutes; and then put this solution into above glue of the step 3, note, stir evenly while pouring;

5.Add around 30ml tributyl phosphate into the above glue of step 4 and mix it around evenly; and now the glue is completed finally

Remark:

1.The function of the caustic soda: gel builder, main content should be over 96%; normally the caustic soda can make the gel translucent; if put it into too much, the final glue is easy to be thick; in case of bad quality of the caustic soda, should put more caustic soda;

2.The function of the borax: to improve the viscosity of the final glue;

3.The action of the tributyl phosphate: antifoaming agent, if there are large bubbles, add it, if no bubbles, no need to use this chemical. More foam, more of it can be used; but the excessive can reduce the viscosity.
