Size range

A wide range of flange diameters from 200mm to 1250mm according to DIN 46397 and imperial dimensions from 16" to 48".

Application

These are in-process take-up reels for high speed single and multiwire drawing machines, also stranding and bunching machines, for ferrous and non ferrous wires.

Typical Products

• Suitable for multiwire, plainand tinned copper from 6/0.02mm. to 12/0.4mm diameter.

• Plain and tinned single ends of copper from 0.1mm to 3.5mm diameter.

• Single ends of aluminium from 1mm to 5mm diameter.

• Enamelled wire manufacture.

Technical Data

• Manufactured from high quality steel plate and tube.

• Welded by MIG process, all welds and weld preparations confirming to BS 5135.

• Machined on CNC Lathes for precision and repeatable dimensions and tolerances.

• Dynamically balanced to ISO 1940 for operation at 40 M/Sec.

• Precision machined for use in robotic handling systems, and on automatic guided vehicles.

• Designed for minimal flange disortin when loaded, to ensure uniform traversing and high speed pay-off into extrusion lines, bunchers, re-wind for braiding, etc.

• Suitable for transportation between factories.
