Wire sawing is the latest in diamond cutting technology being used in the construction industry

Wire saws use a series of pulleys and guides to draw a diamond bead coated continuous loop of wire through a cut

This allows the saw to cut through any thickness of concrete (including reinforced concrete), stone, sandstone, or steel

Applications of diamond wire sawing are virtually unlimited

Advantages:

• There is not much block size limited for wire sawing compare with disk saw

• Wire saw inter-space is thinner and more precise than the large disk saw (deviation <1mm)

• Wire saw cutting is more effective and relatively cheaper in long term working

• By virtue of its greater and greater reliability, wire sawing technology is more and more automated and thus becomes just as productive as competing techniques

• Noise nuisance generated by diamond wire sawing is significantly less than that produced by other sawing techniques
