Feature and Usages

Ti is added in the 304 stainless steel to prevent grain boundary corrosion; Weighing method and electrochemical method are suitable for studying the high temperature uniform corrosion and electrochemical corrosion behavior of 321 stainless steel in uranyl nitrate solution of different concentrations and pH values. The results of uniform corrosion test shows that, under the selected corrosion conditions, the 321 stainless steel sample has no obvious change in surface finish within 960h. The corrosion rate is less than 0.04g/m2. It is corrosion resistant in uranyl nitrate solution of low acidity. The corrosion electrochemical method is used to study the electrochemical corrosion characteristics of 321 stainless steel in uranyl nitrate solution with dissolved oxygen; measure the corrosion potential and corrosion current density. The AES analysis shows that, there is a certain amount of uranium in the corrosion film. In the electrochemical etched sample. The thickness of depth profiling uranium contained corrosion film is 10~15nm.
